Playability & Chord System
Ink Steel offers a unique chord and single-note system, designed for natural, fluid playing:
- 8 Chord Sets – White keys play diatonic chords, black keys offer common variations (1 variation, 2, 4 minor, #5 dim, b7).
- 4 Single Note Sets – White keys follow the major scale, while black keys provide non-pitch-bending duplicates for expressive phrasing.
- Pitch Bend Integration – In chord mode, the pitch bend follows the major scale, allowing for smooth transitions and expressive swells.
- Customizable Transposition – Shift chord sets and single-note ranges using on-screen arrows.
