The Ventus Ethnic Winds – Ocarinas library is the fifth release in the Ventus Winds series, and it presents an exceptional trio of ocarinas from different cultures. This library brings you three unique instruments:
- Costa Rican Pendant Ocarina: An ancient wind instrument used in rituals and festivals.
- Triple Ocarina: A multi-chambered instrument with a wide range, ideal for varied musical contexts.
- Chinese Xun: An egg-shaped aerophone with a history of over 7,000 years, originally used in palace music.
Together, these three ocarinas provide diverse timbres, ranges, and playing techniques, allowing you to create a rich array of authentic ethnic music.
Unmatched Articulations and Phrases
The library offers over 5,500 24-bit samples, capturing each ocarina in incredible detail. Each instrument includes 11 to 13 articulations, covering everything from expressive sustains to staccato and extended techniques like vibrato, flutters, and bends.
In addition, over 890 phrases—spanning multiple lengths and styles—are included, giving you ready-to-use, authentic melodies and musical patterns. Phrases are also available as WAV files for direct use in any project.
