Engineered by Mike Tacci, the assistant engineer on the original sessions, and recorded at the legendary One On One Studios in North Hollywood, this library uses the same kit, microphones, and recording chain as the Black Album. It captures the very essence of the powerful and dynamic drum sound that defined rock and metal in the 1990s.

With 25,000 samples, this drum library is designed to deliver every nuance of the legendary drum kit, including up to 286 samples per articulation, split into 11 round robins for an incredibly realistic performance. Featuring dual kicks, two snares, five toms, four crashes, a china cymbal, and an additional ride cymbal, this library perfectly mimics the tones of the Black Album. The drums are recorded with up to 3 close mics and four sets of room mics, including classics like U87s and Telefunken ELAM 251s.
