The Drum Kits
The core of Abbey Road 60s Drummer revolves around two legendary 60s drum kits:
- Gretsch Round Badge White Marine Pearl Kit (Jasper Shell) from the early 1960s
- Ludwig Hollywood Kit from 1967
Each kit features a choice of two 60s snares, and all cymbals used are genuine 60s originals, including a rivet cymbal from 1963. The drums were recorded with up to 30 different velocity layers, and each drum hit was captured with up to six alternative round robins to ensure realistic, dynamic performances.
